Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara, a Romanian and German actress, who has worked in film and TV is most well-known for her roles in films such as Rush as well as Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Since she was the sole child of Romanian actress Valentin Platareanu, Alexandra started her showbiz career early. She was a lead actress in dramas on television as young as 16 years old. After her critically acclaimed role in the show Der Tunnel, Alexandra went on to play other noteworthy role like Adolf's secretary Traudljunge in Downfall. Downfall won an Oscar and received critical acclaim. The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex are other Oscar nominated features featuring the divas. In the past, Alexandra has been involved in a variety of significant international and local projects. This includes the British biographical films Control Greek drama film The Dust of Time and the French historic mini-series Napoleon and many more. She also served on the jury at the Transylvania International Film Festival, and was also a juror at Cannes Film Festival.
