Alexandra Maria Lara, a Romanian and German actress, who has worked in film and TV is most well-known for her roles in films such as Rush as well as Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Since she was the sole child of Romanian actress Valentin Platareanu, Alexandra started her showbiz career early. She was a lead actress in dramas on television as young as 16 years old. After her critically acclaimed role in the show Der Tunnel, Alexandra went on to play other noteworthy role like Adolf's secretary Traudljunge in Downfall.
